If it is still in effect why do I see so many kids in Redcliff without them? Maybe the RCMP should wait outside the four schools and when they spot one of these kids, ... Read More »

Re: “It’s hard to make any sense of some arguments,” May 19 As a sensible person, I along with millions of others fully support the reasons for being pro-life as opposed to pro-abortion. We believe human life is sacred from the womb to the tomb. We do not regard animal life in the same way ... Read More »

Re: “Local man claims he and other ‘Christians’ are being stifled by the library’s social media,” June 1 I don’t normally use this format to express frustration or concern, but after reading Collin Gallant’s article regarding a recent social media post from the Medicine Hat Public Library, I really felt compelled to speak up. “A great personality and very smart, good combination”; A very talented man”; “He loves his country very much”; “A worthy negotiator”; “They have great beaches, whenever they’re exploding their cannons into the ocean, I say, ‘Boy, look at that view, wouldn’t that make a great condo?'” It’s a testament to how utterly messed up American ... I have been thinking about stigma for awhile. We have kinds of stigma in our society against mental illness, developed delayed folks, people who look different from us, people who act different from us and people who take drugs. I have been wondering who has the time for all this stigma in their lives it ... Read More »

On June 1, the Medicine Hat News published a story in response to my unpublished letter to the editor involving censorship with the Medicine Hat Public Library Facebook page. As a result of what I believe to be misrepresentations in this story, I have been publicly and unfairly maligned for words which I have never ... Read More »

A couple of weeks ago we were at Windmill Garden Centre to choose some bedding plants for our yard. While we were inside, our vehicle, which was parked on the street right in front along First Street S.W. was hit by someone who was heading in the opposite direction and crossed the centre line, hitting ...
