Jason Kenney a Liberal in disguise

For those of us who consider ourselves to be true conservatives there is nothing dumber than watching our fellow seniors bashing the NDP and Liberals while they support a Liberal masquerading as a conservative, like Jason Kenney is doing.

He has never been a true conservative. Brian Jean and Jason Kenney learned absolutely nothing from the Jim Prentice and Danielle Smith gong-show, when all nine of their members that walked across the floor were defeated. As soon as their merger took place their supporters were stating, once again, that they would vote these traitors out.

Now MLAs Rick Fraser, Brian Jean, Wayne Drysdale, David Schneider, Pat Stier, Scott Cyr and Wes Taylor have all decided that they won’t run in the next election for the UCP, after being so certain that they would win. Could it be that they have seen the writing on the wall and don’t want to face the same embarrassment?

If that’s not bad enough we hear that Rick Strankman, Wes Taylor and Leela Aheer are in trouble with the public over their support of comments made by Sandra Kim in 2015 when she posted some sarcastic remarks about gays and Muslim women.

Add that to the Prab Gill, Derek Fildebrandt and Todd Beasley disasters Kenney has had to face and Rachel Notley is right — they are in serious trouble.

Apparently Kenney and his supporters haven’t realized that by hurling their sarcastic comments at the NDP government they are insulting the intelligence of many true Alberta conservatives who knew we had to put a stop to what they were doing to us.

But they don’t stop there. They insulted our farmers and ranchers by bashing Bill 6, literally telling them that they don’t deserve to have their farm workers protected, and bashed Bill 24 insulting our gay community, then Kenney whines because he isn’t allowed to ride in their Gay Pride parades. What did he expect? If that wasn’t enough he insults our relatives and friends in rural Alberta by voting against additional government funding to help them deal with the serious increase in crimes in their areas. Apparently they don’t deserve to have additional government funding they should deal with the problem themselves by arming themselves and shooting it out with these criminals Donald Trump style.

The conservatives we proudly supported under Peter Lougheed and Don Getty always treated every Albertan with dignity and respect, collected proper royalties, taxes and health care premiums and ran this province properly. Kenney has made it crystal clear he has no intention of being like them. Hurling insults at our citizens, while he gives away our oil wealth to his rich friends is far more important to him and he doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process.
