Martha Ida Hippe of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the age of 100 years, beloved wife of the late Berthold Hippe. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Thelma Matheson, Arthur Hippe and Arnetta Leach; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by her parents, Ernstina and Edward Wutke and one son Clifford; three brothers and one sister. Her family would like to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan’s for the good care she received. The funeral service will be held in St. Paul Lutheran Church (515 Sprague Way SE) on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Edel officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
