ANTON

With deep sadness, the family of Adeline Anton, announce the passing of our matriarch on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the age of 96 years, beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Anton. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Harvey (Fern) Anton of Bow Island, Virginia (Don) Davies of Medicine Hat, Stan (Lori) Anton of Kamloops, BC and Juanita Rebmann of Medicine Hat; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Marie Garrecht of Medicine Hat, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Rosalia and Joseph Garrecht; her husband, William in 1985; five brothers and five sisters.
Adeline was born on the family farm south of Prelate on July 28, 1920, the 3rd youngest of 11 children. At 17 she went to work in Fox Valley, where she met her future husband Bill. They married on October 12, 1942 in Vancouver, BC, where Bill was stationed during the war, eventually settling in Fox Valley. The family moved to Medicine Hat in 1962. After the passing of her husband, Adeline remained a very active part of the community; volunteering at the hospital & Veiner Centre, taking part in exercise classes and even starring in some local commercials. She was a long-time member of the Catholic Women’s League and St. Patrick’s Parish.
The family would like to thank our Elkwater Cottage family at Meadow Ridge Seniors Village for your kind and compassionate care of our Mom, Granny, Gigi. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Tomy Manjaly celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. HEIDRICK

Frances Eva Heidrick of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of the late Ralph Heidrick. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Philip Le celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
