Stampede Roundup: The cat’s out of the bag!

By Ryan McCracken on February 2, 2024.

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede has announced its 2024 Night Show lineup, with a trio of top tier performers set to blow the roof off the Hat this July.

Kicking off Stampede Week on Wednesday, July 24, 105.3 ROCK and JACK 102.1 present reality TV superstar and Poison frontman Bret Michaels.

Next up, WILD 94.5 presents nine-time Canadian Country Music Award winners, The Washboard Union, on Thursday, July 25.

Then Canadian country’s newest sensation, James Barker Band, will close out the summer spectacle on Saturday, July 27 – also presented by WILD 94.5.

Ticket packages are on sale now at mhstampede.com and 403-527-1234 for $199, which includes a ticket, taxes, fees and gate admission for all three shows – a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day.

Individual ticket sales for Bret Michaels ($99), The Washboard Union ($69) and James Barker Band ($79) will be released at a later date.

Keep an eye on the Stampede’s Facebook and Instagram pages for more information on the 2024 Night Shows – including on-sale dates, contests and more – as well as our myriad other events set to take the year by storm.

On that note, the Stampede is ready to welcome the Alberta Food and Beverage Expo on Feb. 24, featuring hundreds of wines, beers, cocktails and food samples provided by restaurants and suppliers from Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Grande Prairie and Red Deer.

The cowboys and cowgirls return to the Cypress Centre Fieldhouse April 19-21 for the Broncs and Honky Tonks Indoor Spring Rodeo. Tickets are already selling quickly so don’t miss out on this annual favourite. As always, Friday and Saturday evenings’ rodeos will be followed by the Down in the Dirt Dance – so grab a partner and find a seat before it’s too late.

Individual tickets and packages are now on sale for all of the Stampede’s major 2024 events, including the Spring Rodeo, WPCA Chuckwagons (June 20-23) and Summer Pro Rodeo (July 25-27).

It’s going to be another summer to remember at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, and we look forward to seeing you all come out to join in on the fun.
