By the Way: The truth can only be found in God’s words

Rapture. What does this mean to you personally?

For most folk this is a bygone forgotten word mostly due to the fact we are too smart especially when it comes to the Bible.

Rapture is the Latin word taken from the term “caught up” taken from 1 Thess.4: 17. Simply put, the Bible reveals to us when everything is in place, for example the environment, wars, calamities, and especially Israel, all laid out for us as God’s plans are precise, then Jesus will return as He left for those waiting for Him then the great tribulation mentioned throughout scripture will begin. The greatest problem today in North America is we are too smart for God. We tend to listen to our government or the United Nations for answers, and how is that going?

Now we may have a few years left, or tomorrow who knows, but your Rapture may be today if you succumb to disease or a accident. There is no return or I should have done things differently. And despite popular belief as you have heard at many a funeral not all go directly to Heaven. There is only one way as Jesus pointed out. Romans 10:8-10 tells us only Jesus is the way. Of course many will argue there are many religions but I ask are you willing to take that risk with your soul for eternity. I notice for example, that muslim clerics are telling us they will consume the world yet the vast majority of Christians are coming from muslim countries. In fact Iran despite its rhetoric is on path to have the highest number of converts higher than China which sees some 40,000 a week. But then this falls in line with the Bible again that one of the end times factors before Jesus returns is a World revival of people coming to faith in Christ. Simply put, many folk are fed up with the lies they have been fed up for so long and are looking for the truth, only found in God’s word.
