A special military-themed Pecha Kucha event, to commemorate Remembrance Day, will be held tonight at Medalta, starting at 8:20 p.m.

As always, Pecha Kucha will feature short presentations in the 20×20 format on topics that speakers are passionate about. What that means is that each speaker has 20 slides that automatically advance every 20 seconds. This Pecha Kucha has a military theme, so all of the presenters will be presenting on that subject.

Admission is free, but a $1 donation is suggested. There will be a cash bar.

The lineup includes:

— Philip Pype, First World War photographs and their stories

— Wes Krause, Museum Curator, Southern Alberta Light Horse

— David Carter, former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Historian, on war graves

—Scott Payne, The Royal United Services Institute of Medicine Hat

— Dina Jubrak, Escalation — war and peace

— Myles Mulholland, British Forces veteran

— Twila St. Jacques, Canadian Forces
