Genealogical society hosting open house

Medicine Hat News The Medicine Hat & District Genealogical Society is opening its doors to the public this weekend. The group is hosting an open house from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at its office at 974 13th St. S.W. A notice from the society says searching out one’s unique heritage is one of the fastest-growing hobbies in North America. Members of the club will be on hand to offer assistance and show the public the resources that can be used for people to investigate their past. 6-5
