The time leading into the Holiday Season, for a marketer, wanting to sell products that can be given as gifts, is one of the busiest of the year. It is when sales and promotional campaigns are at their peak. It is also a time filled with seasonal activities, social gatherings, and all sorts of fun holiday favourites.
With that in mind, this year more than ever, the Esplanade and Co-op Place fully encompass that Holiday spirit. There are so many seasonal events and activities that embody that essence starting with Midnight Madness on Friday. Part of the annual downtown celebration, you can expect free family-fun experiences inside and outside the Esplanade. Plus get a head start on your shopping in our beautiful core.
Next on the list is Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland on Tuesday at Co-op Place. This dazzling-themed musical circus show will take you on an epic journey filled with acrobatics, hilarious hijinks and Holiday cheers.
Hockey around the Holidays is the perfect fit. At Co-op Place we offer an affordable, all-you-can-eat pre-game buffet to add to the experience of our beloved Medicine Hat Tigers. The next one is Nov. 25, followed by two in December; Dec. 16, which will have a delicious Holiday menu, and another Dec. 30.
What else makes my heart sing Charlie Brown Christmas songs and my head feel like a snow globe in the coming weeks? The Nutcracker comes to mind.
With four shows at the Esplanade from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3, this Holiday favourite by Jeunesse Classique Ballet will be hard to miss. Another Medicine Hat Holiday staple, Mahoney & Friends is back Dec. 8. It was just announced and is already selling like hot cakes.
Speaking of which, tixx.ca is the perfect one-stop shop for your gifts. The beauty of it is there are a variety of experiences easy to connect with the specific taste of the people on your list.
Your friends are big country or rock music fans, get them tickets to High Valley or the Sheepdogs. Your family loves magic or circus, get them seats to Chris Funk or Blizzard. There are tickets for hockey, comedy, tributes, classes, tours, Esplanade membership and more.
You can go online or call, and if you’re already coming to one of our events at Esplanade or Co-op Place in the next few weeks, you can do all your shopping in person, all at once!
Stay tuned for some exciting offers starting at the end of November (Black Friday, anyone?). If you don’t already, make sure to subscribe to our emails to keep up with all that is happening in entertainment, events, exhibitions and more. Visit our Esplanade or Co-op Place websites to sign up today.
