After a successful run in June, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program will be hosting another Art in Police Point Park event next month. The watercolour painting workshop will take place outdoors at Police Point Park on July 8 from 1-3 p.m. “We had such an overwhelming response in June, that we decided to run another session this July,” reads an MHIP release. “you can choose to paint a greeting card for someone you care about, or paint a picture for yourself to enjoy! All materials will be provided by the MH Interpretive Program.” The event is recommended for artists aged 12 and up, though previous painting experience is not required. Those looking to participate are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The workshop will be held rain or shine, but in the event of showers , the event will move under the park’s patio awning. More information on this event and the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program can be found by calling the Nature Line at 403-529-6225, or by visiting natureline.info or the Police Point Park Facebook page. 7
