Medicine Hat News The Brick and Tile plant (formerly I-XL brick plant, just east of Medalta) will be the site Saturday of Volume 15 of Pecha Kucha, held in conjunction with the Filthy Hands Festival. The audio-visual presentations from eight people — a little less than seven minutes per presenter — starts at 6 p.m. The lineup of presenters is: — Gabriel Chudleigh, Dealing with PTSD — Siew Mak, Interpreting Chinese paintings — Jerry Toupin, Winter in Canada — Daniel Schnee, India tabla drumming — Sara Brar, Saamis Immigation — Avril Torrence, Friends of Medicare — Jim Hillson, Finding Faith — Robert Harrison,President of the World Association of Brick Artists,What is WABA? Each of these presenters will speak briefly on their topics to share information, inspire listeners, and build community. In addition, the Pecha Kucha committee has partnered with local artist Annette ten Cate to develop an interactive and interesting art installation to help to gain information to provide direction for future events.
