I hope our city council will remember that our power plants are owned by the citizens of the Hat and not enter into any large scale purchasing of renewables without a referendum.

Because it’s a typical dog owner who puts the blame on the people when it comes to their dogs. I don’t need anger management. It’s called respect for people before the animal. It’s your intelligence I question.

That you don’t realize the word ‘idiot’ was in reply to the ad hominem regarding their use of “use your marble” to me. Also that word has been used many times and worse regarding Trudeau and yet you don’t complain.

It is so uplifting to read the adoring spouse waking up to the “beautiful wife.” It truly shows self confidence and love to regularly express things you admire in your spouse. Keep it up! Can’t express enough how this important factor helps couples stay strong and together.

Driving into Medicine Hat from the west looks like you are entering an evacuation zone. Foot-high dead grass and weeds. Dead and dying trees. A few years back I was proud to drive into the Hat. (Quite a few). I’m embarrassed for what it’s become. No city pride anymore. At least keep the grass and weeds cut.

I find it very discouraging to walk down our back lane and continually see dead sparrows laying on the ground and cats crouched and hiding in the tall grass just waiting for a kill. It is time to put a stop to this by having these cat lovers come to their senses and recognize cats for what they are, simple predators and killers.

Lets face it, Canada. Israel’s goal is to eliminate all Palestinians from Palestine, and those who think otherwise are only deluding themselves that peace will be accomplished in our lifetime.

The Root Cellar and the Mustard Seed can now help feed the hungry in our community because they have the manpower – paid staff, volunteers – and of course all that wonderful food and produce donated by the stores. Nothing should be going to garbage. The huge kitchens at the food bank can be put to the use and purpose for the community at long last.

Dear council, how much more is the city’s HR department costing taxpayers since it became people services? How many more positions have been added and how many are remote workers? Can money be saved there to prevent increasing citizens’ taxes?

I will be when PP wins the next federal election. He is going to be the savior of our broken Canada. There will be no more homeless or hungry. He will fix the health care issues and we will live in Utopia forever more. He promises so much, I look forward to seeing what he can do.
