Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, July 4, 2024

Ticked Off

PP keeps saying Canada is broken. It is his new meaningless mantra. How is it broken, PP? No explanation. Just saying it means nothing. What do we need to put a cast on? Your mouth?

Ticked Off

With constant complaining of Alberta taxpayers that they pay too much in taxes to federal/provincial governments. Take a pay cut, then you won’t.

Tickled Pink

Isn’t it so sweet of the people defending the city council? So, how about you give your address so they can make sure there is at least one four-storey condo/apartment over looking your back yard all day everyday? I do not live in that proposed area, but I sure do feel for that neighbourhood.

Ticked Off

At the Medicine Hat Rate Payers Association, you do not represent Medicine Hat. Change your name to a few disgruntled rate payers group. You do not represent the citizens of this city. Our elected council does. Stop your drama, grabbing a few seconds of the spotlight for yourselves.

Tickled Pink

With all the great fireworks this past weekend! Have to give the nod to the Stampede for having the best in my opinion. (Editors note: Both fireworks displays were pretty illuminating).

Ticked Off

It’s disappointing to see that administration continues to put all of the mayors requests at the end of the agenda so they get pushed. It sure feels like the deck is stacked against her.

Tickled Pink

I’m Tickled Pink that for the past 25 years I have been able to take my family golfing at Paradise Valley. All of the memories teaching my children how to golf there, and soon, memories of teaching my grandchildren as well. Very thankful we have such a wonderful golf course in our community.

Ticked Off

At all the retirement age and older people who refuse to retire. You are the reason why the younger generations can’t find work. Most of you also can’t use the CTRL+F function to save your lives, while young adults have to hand hold you through the most basic of office functions.

Tickled Pink

That the mayor is willing to work for half the price. It shows me her actual principles. The real question is are the rest of council and administrators willing to show their public service principles and take a wage cut by half?

Tickled Pink

I would be Tickled Pink if council approve the trail to canyon creek from south ridge there is a lot of kids in that neighborhood that use bikes. This is a major health and safety concern and should be approved.

Tickled Pink

To the gentleman who cuts the grass and plows the snow on the walking path in Cottonwood, thank you! Your hard work is appreciated!

Tickled Pink

I’m Tickled Pink with the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association. The events held down in Kin Coulee, the amazing Beat The Heat contest they hold every year. Even with the rain, they made it enjoyable. Can’t wait for next years events!

Ticked Off

The path way to Canyon Creek is a serious health and safety concern for pedestrians and children on bikes, why would council not take this into consideration? If they are serious about wanting to grow this city this should be done.
