Ticked Off The UCP could use the money they waste on advertising telling us how good the health-care system is to actually use that money to help make the system better. Ticked Off Clarification: I support all trained and certified service dogs – a large big-box store in the south end feels it is OK to let everyone take in their dogs and cats with them while shopping. Last week a dog did their dump in the store and the owner just left it there for the public and store staff to find. Does the manager of the store even realize what liability they are open to if someone gets bit, or a toddler ends up playing in the poo? Ticked Off Why is city council so scared to stand up to the city manager? Shouldn’t they be standing up for the citizens who voted them in? Ticked Off That people do not educate themselves before making sure comments. Quebec opted out of the CPP many years ago. They cannot ever get back in no matter how hard they try. That is why we as Albertans should never agree to an Albert pension plan. We cannot get our CPP back. And since when do Albertans follow what Quebec does? Ticked Off OMG, orange peels, really? They are bio degradable. Don’t pick them up, they help to deter mosquitoes and ticks on the trail. Citrus oil is harmful to bugs, the peel is full of citrus oil. Ticked Off That people who live in apartment blocks do not follow the rules of the said apartment blocks. There is a noise rule, please obey it. Ticked Off As a taxpayer, I have the right to know what you as elected council members are spending money on. So open up your expense reports. Ticked Off At the campers who keep their units on driveway and street for weeks and only use the them like twice a year. It is absolutely hilarious. Ticked Off At a neighbour who turned on their oscillating sprinkler three hours ago and still hasn’t returned to turn it off. After all the rain the past few days, it’s totally unnecessary and wasteful. Ticked Off How tone deaf is this council in the poor management of the city administration? I get people are passionate and some citizens may cross a line, I don’t agree with that, but those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing, and yet at every turn they continue to block requests by citizens, labelling them a “problem.” No, council, the problem is your lack of listening, and it’s disgusting. Tickled Pink Was the new video made by council a prudent use of taxpayer dollars? Hopefully senior administration take note how they treat employees below them. Tickled Pink If government would “axe the GST!” No rebate for this family. Carbon tax rebate helps this family. So, I guess we are the 80% that receives more than we pay. Ticked Off As my grandpa told me, Mr. P., if you aren’t quick enough to catch the flies, you lose the honey and end up sucking vinegar. Ticked Off As a taxpaying citizen, I am interested in the “everything with my name on it,” as it will show if leaders in the city are focusing on work, or their reputations. Ticked Off At the people from the next province over. Do they follow any traffic rules there? No signal lights, no stopping at stop signs, sitting in the fast lane on the highway when there are six vehicles behind them waiting to pass. What’s the deal? Tickled Pink I don’t need to attend the Paranormal Cirque to be frightened. I’m terrified every time I shop for groceries or gas. Tickled Pink Council, please listen to the citizens, we just want the truth. The community is sick and tired of these hide-and-go-seek games with the city manager. Ticked Off I am tired of people complaining about the homelessness situation in our city. If you don’t have a solution that you’re willing to implement yourself, instead of passing it on to others, why don’t you just keep quiet? Maybe that would make things a bit more positive around here. Tickled Pink Just out of curiosity, what did the council’s recent media presentation cost us, and did we use a local company for this?
