With the city staff member who went above and beyond to ensure a community club had access to city facilities. Thank you for all you do!

It is a disgrace if you think it is appropriate to displace our democratically elected mayor because some of you were embarrassed and had your feelings hurt. It’s called accountability. If you don’t like it, resign.

So now over 200 economists from around the country are the “so called experts” – PhD climate scientists? Nope, not real experts. Pediatricians? Nope, all fake, they don’t know what they’re talking about! The only real experts on these matters are Conservative politicians!

That our mayor is actually speaking for the first time in a year and everyone’s falling for it. It’s one thing to disagree with council’s decision, it’s another to allow the name-calling and slander of your peers. Mayor Clark, city employees were tired of your bullying and manipulation, and are grateful to council for standing up.

Sad to say this, but if it was a man who “supposedly” talked to the city manager with disrespect, nothing would have come of it. He may have had a slap on the wrist, but nothing like they gave the female mayor.

That Mayor Clark exposed what was actually going on, but then I’m Ticked Off to hear council wants to double down and sanction her more for doing so. Someone has got to put a stop to council’s insanity.

I wonder if the city manager and council are starting to get nervous, as I suspect in a judicial review everything will come out, and not just what “the complainant” wanted to come out. Could be very interesting when the rest of us get to find out the whole story, as the redacted report the city released was a complete joke.

Feeling betrayed that council nullified the election results for mayor. Feeling disgusted that the city manager has been caught in a lie. What else is she lying about?

That Donald Trump said there will be a “bloodbath” if he loses the 2024 U.S. presidential election. What happens in the U.S. has effects on Canada, and we should be ready for the spillover of this possible “bloodbath.”

After the attack by council and the city manager on our elected mayor. Let’s call an election and see who the citizens want.

Over 60 per cent in the News poll support Mayor Clark in the debacle at city hall. Apparently the Code of Conduct and the Kingsgate Report are ignored. This is strange. Is this the mayor’s new governance model for the city?

Mayor Clark’s dispute with the city manager last August was fading from memory. Now that council has decided it needs to punish the mayor harshly, council has embarrassed themselves and the city and council will be remembered for being unjust.

I know the goings on at city hall dominated most Easter get togethers, but what about the MH Police drama? It should be getting more coverage as we get our popcorn together.
