Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, March 14, 2024

Tickled Pink

With my wife. I Have been going through a rough time recently and don’t know what I would have done without her.

Ticked Off

That the city charges you $460 to disconnect and reconnect your electrical meter so that people may safely replace their electrical panel. Companies now need to add this charge making it more expensive to upgrade my house. Other utility companies do not charge for this service because people were trying to do it themselves without disconnecting power in order to save money. Do better Medicine Hat.

Tickled Pink

I am tickled pink at the support that the residents of Medicine Hat are giving to the Medicine Hat Tigers this season. These boys work hard for our entertainment. I would love it even more if some of the new fans coming to the games learned basic hockey etiquette like not leaving or returning to your seat while the puck is in play.

Ticked Off

Are you a maker or a taker? You may be a taker if you agree with politicians who take from others and supposedly give.

Tickled Pink

There, we’ve set the clocks let’s just stay on MDT – mountain daylight time. Shifting the time benefits who? Cows don’t care what clocks says and school kids have their screens on and get driven.

Ticked Off

For those naively cheering on the recycled Highway 3 Twinning announcement by Premier Danielle Smith. Wake up and realize that the expansion from Medicine Hat to Seven Persons is disgracefully relegated to the absolute bottom of the priority list, slated as one of the final stages of the entire project. It’s crystal clear that our supposed representative, MLA Danielle Smith, doesn’t give a damn about Medicine Hat. She sees Lethbridge as the golden goose while neglecting the very region she was elected to serve.

Tickled Pink

I am a mature female and am so tickled pink with the good weather so that I can get out my muscle car with it’s loud motor. You’d be surprised at how many females appreciate them.

Ticked Off

What has happened to the local news on the TV? The host wastes our time showing us 15 year old pictures of himself at the Oscars. Why, this isn’t news.

Ticked Off

It simply amazes me the large number of people who don’t know how to switch between their day-time running lights and their night-time head lights but they sure know how to use their fog lights on a clear evening.

Ticked Off

That Premier Danielle Smith is creating a second Quebec here in Alberta by challenging the federal government over everything without a lot of thought for all Albertans.

Ticked Off

At the teenage boys who fake coughed at my mother and me as they walked past us at Sobeys Tuesday at about 5:15 p.m. We were wearing masks as my mom has cancer. Classy. You are old enough to drive, I saw you leaving in what has to be mommy or daddy’s shiny red truck; I wonder if that’s who you learned your manners and behaviours from? They must be so proud.

Ticked Off

At this stupid time change once again. It takes my body at least 10 days to adjust to it disrupting my life. I am tired, exhausted and my mind is foggy trying to adjust. It’s crazy to go through this twice a year.
