Why should we want a recall for a city candidate who won a position in the last election? If you don’t like his or her performance don’t vote them in next time. Let them finish their term now.

That some paranoid person believes their neighbour is watching them. People look outside. That’s why we put windows in our homes. Some check the weather and look around when they hear something going on outside their home. Just because you happen to see your neighbour at that moment doesn’t mean they’re spying on you. Maybe you’re the one obsessed with what your neighbours are doing? P.S. How do you know he doesn’t care about himself? Have you taken the time to ask?

I’m pleased with the high level of service I receive from the City. Big Marble Go Centre, Co-op Place, Esplanade, public library, Veiner Centre, city hall, police station, airport, fire halls – all excellent facilities. Inside each of those buildings are highly skilled and dedicated staff who work hard to provide quality services to residents of Medicine Hat. Those services are funded through taxes. Take my money and keep providing excellent services that directly impact my quality of life in our “oasis in the prairies!”

Kudos to the brave students who participated in the walkout in support of trans and LGBTQ+ kids. It’s heartwarming to see that their generation is going in the right direction, despite their largely redneck surroundings.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t know how a summit will stop the theft of autos. A lot of hot air is all that will come out of this summit.

If council continues with the waterfront initiative. This is a great idea and will take some brave council to ensure it is pushed forward.

At Broadstreet Properties/Southlands Blvd. for having absolutely no parking and building a second apartment across the way while all the tenants with two cars have to park blocks away and get bylaw called on them daily.

To see kids took part in the school walkout here in Medicine Hat on Feb. 7 to oppose Danielle Smith’s anti-LGBTQ policies. Great job standing up for your rights.

I could be if our premier and MLA member would have the courage to sit in a room with transgender folks, young and old. No additional “aids,” including people to advise or consult. Just have a coffee and talk to them. You might change your mind about the new proposed legislation. Maybe the next time sit down with the doctors.

RE: Thank you Danielle Smith for protecting the children of Alberta – Who exactly is Danielle Smith protecting the children from? From you and your backwards thinking, from other people and their backwards thinking? I don’t get it. Why doesn’t the Alberta government worry about our health care crisis? Why do Albertans keep voting UCP?

Danielle Smith “chats” with Tucker Carlson, whose next interviewee is Vladimir Putin. Kinda says it all, but that’s OK because Donald Trump looked Putin in the eye in Helsinki and said, “I believe him.” That’s good enough for me.

The arrogance of our present premier has no end. She involves herself in matters that should be between patient and doctor. She considers herself wiser than health officials, educators, scientists, as well as other professional people. Seeing as recalling political figures is getting well documented, perhaps a recall on Premier Smith would be a wise move in the best interest of Albertans.

If someone can explain how our premier is giving parents more rights if she is taking away their right to be able to give consent for procedures involving children 17 years and under. Isn’t this more government control while she talks about less government control? My head hurts.

“Parental rights” don’t trump the Charter and human rights of your minor children. Please, if you have been radicalized by right-wing politicians and fake journalists and talking head pundits, don’t take your hate out on the children.

What is happening at the City of Medicine Hat? Since their new CEO, they continue to layoff good employees in this last 12 months, to replace them with their former friends and coworkers from out of town. Why is no one questioning this from council, I am sure they have to be aware? Complete chaos, waste of tax dollars and incompetence at the higher levels. Disgusting.

Just love the cartoonist children in “The Family Circus.” They are just so darn cute and I just could take them home with me.

So many people are always judging others for their views but we all have our own options! I think everyone should start cleaning up their own back yards before they start looking over the fence and passing judgment on others!
