Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Nov. 28, 2023

Tickled Pink

That I figured out a way to refill the 510 vape cartridges and save my buddies 15-20 per fill when going through me. An added bonus is the process actually impacts the environment by way of recycle and reuse.

Ticked Off

At the disingenuous hollow rhetoric of Danielle Smith claiming she’s got Alta Ag back. Yet, as our representative and premier, couldn’t be bothered to deliver her message in person at our Ag conference. Had it been oil and gas, she’d be here.

Ticked Off

To the person who said the twinning project isn’t starting until spring 2024. You clearly are ignorant of facts, and know nothing about the amount of prep work that has to be done before you can actually get to the road work itself. Danielle Smith delivered on her promise, and you were wrong with your submission.

Ticked Off

We are tired of you stealing our paper at a downtown coffee shop. We are now watching for you and it is a theft charge when you’re caught.

Tickled Pink

Trump’s digital book is located on his former Tweeter account, Truth Social account, and court transcripts. Can’t help if 53% of American are smarter than the other 47%.

Tickled Pink

I got some awesome gift cards at downtown Midnight Madness. I was able to purchase items from various vendors and local shops. I look forward to it every year.

Ticked Off

Schools’ home time does not mean people can stop their vehicle in front of one’s driveway waiting for your little ones to come out. Find a parking spot and walk to the entrance and wait for them. People will park tight at corners, in front of driveways, in the middle of the alley.

Ticked Off

If any council should be investigated for corruption, it should be the previous one. Why was a $100-million building built on private property when the city has so much of their own land? And now it’s costing taxpayers $3.5 million a year to subsidize it. Guess the previous mayor forgot about that.

Ticked Off

Donating old outdated food you won’t eat is not showing care. It is actually showing you don’t.

Ticked Off

The way governments are running. Within the next generation, people won’t own their homes in their lifetime.

Tickled Pink

The staff at Medicine Hat Public Library are very good at their jobs, helpful and courteous. Other businesses and departments in the city would do well to follow their example. Well done to the library staff!

Tickled Pink

Photo radar is an excellent use of technology in traffic control. The whiners and complainers apparently have difficulty driving the speed limits. Premier Smith and her government catering again to the lowest common denominator.

Ticked Off

That UCP supporters think the NDP are spendthrifts. What extravagant spending did they spend on? Health care? Education? Roads? Municipalities? Government spending usually enhances our standard of living instead of diminishing it.

Tickled Pink

Alberta does not contribute to the CPP, the workers of Alberta do. The CPP operates at arm’s length of both governments. Why does Alberta want to politicize the system?

Ticked Off

The UCP so recklessly spends taxpayer money. The war room, an advertising campaign that tries to scare us into thinking our power plants will shut down, $250,000 to Preston Manning for a report that favours alternative science and more. And what about reducing corporate tax to 8% and not giving ordinary citizens any break? Shameful.

Ticked Off

If homeowners must use outdoor Christmas lights, they should have them on only for a limited time (e.g., 5-9 p.m.) not all night. Only deer can enjoy lights at 3 a.m. Are the lights on an indication of illegal activity?

Tickled Pink

Respect for Jesse Christianson, who keeps creating excitement at Tigers games despite sparse crowds consisting of people who just sit and look at their phones.

Tickled Pink

I have been around several of the Christmas markets in town, they are just awesome! So many talented people in town we have.
