Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, May 16

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on May 16, 2023.

Ticked Off

You think you have problems with the economy and wars and interest rates etc. Well that is nothing! I bought a bag of Hickory Sticks today and when I got them home I noticed a new label saying they are Salt and Vinegar. What is happening to our world.

Ticked Off

At the comment that someone has dogs “who stop and pee on my lawn all the time.” Pretty sure those dogs have an owner attached that you can confront. Probably not killing birds or rabbits either.

Ticked Off

Look out Hatters, we are about to see a major increase in utility bills as the very confusing fixed rate/default rates reset in June, most citizens don’t have a clue how all this works.

Tickled Pink

Proud to recognize my Norwegian heritage, as that country celebrates their National Day on May 17.

Ticked Off

It is pathetic when cats are more important than the happiness of one’s parent. Sad, really.

Tickled Pink

I’m tickled pink that a lady from the pickleball community has donated used tennis racquets to a local elementary school so that we can teach racquet skills in gym classes. How kind!

Ticked Off

When you lie and then apologize and then say other things that you need to apologize for, it indicates a serious character flaw. Apologies do not erase what you have said. Not having to apologize is far more honourable.

Ticked Off

Ticked off that election campaigns have become so ridiculously messy. Signage gets vandalized and damaged… sadly, it’s become a fact of life.

Ticked Off

Ticked off at the slow service of a certain restaurant on Dunmore Road. We waited so long. it was our anniversary I was going to go next door to get a burger.

Ticked Off

I believe political policies will destroy us sooner than climate change will.

Tickled Pink

Thanks to the garbage truck driver of the red zone on Friday. In the alley between 6-7 Street. When my compost bin was left on the concrete pad in front of the garage instead of the alley, they made the effort to reach it anyway and haul the compost away. Certainly appreciate your extra consideration and effort, which I suspect many would not have done.

Tickled Pink

Tickled pink that we have Tin Can Alley in our city. What a waste of money. Either use it or lose it! No loss!

Ticked Off

Checked off how the mayor is going to increase our population immensely when there’s no more companies investing here.

Ticked Off

To find some narrow minded people removed campaign signs along Parkview Drive and Rive Road. Some signs were tossed on road for their entertainment.

Ticked Off

Ticked off that a some pea brain thinks they own city property on Parkview Drive in Crescent Heights and are repeatedly targeting certain campaign signs. Do they realize this activity is illegal and may backfire on them? It leaves me feeling threatened that I cannot freely display my choice on my front lawn.
