All the commercials during hockey games are gambling commercials! Are we sure these athletes aren’t throwing games or getting injured? Lots of money out there to be made!

Two of my bikes got stolen yesterday and later in that same day I saw three people breaking apart one of my bikes for parts. I, fortunately, got that bike back (although a lot of the accessories got looted off it) however the second bike I will probably never see again. This experience with my bikes just makes me think that we need a better and more proactive police presence downtown to keep neighbourhoods safe.

Stop feeding the deer. I couldn’t believe my ears when I overheard someone say they enjoyed feeding the deer. The deer are well fed in our gardens. Something needs to be done or Medicine Hat will be overrun. It almost is already. Gather them up somehow, tag them and transport them to the forest where they belong.

I get the need for more money, inflation has hit everyone. Most in private sector have not received wage increases or very little. Most people had to go back to the office.

Federal government should not employ grain inspectors that can hold the grain trade hostage. Feds have no stake in the grain any more since the end of CWB inspection, should be the purview of grain company’s as any shipment rejections are their loss to bear. Government wanted to be out of grain marketing so get out!

Council can blow $1.5 million on an aging dying sport, curling, but will not spend $100,000 on keeping Crestwood pool open that a lot of youngsters use.

AHS needs to update doctors taking new patients. Their are none in Medicine Hat. Please update list and make it real.

I am ticked off at the arrogance of the PSAC strikers. I have no sympathy for those who believe that holding this wonderful country hostage for their own selfish gains. My goodness those of us on fixed incomes would be tickled pink to get a 9% increase in our CPP or AISH. My husband was also a PSAC member and never did he have such great working conditions. Some of their people complain because they need to go back to working in office settings instead of at home.

Biden can approve new drilling in Alaska and Gulf of Mexico but won’t green-light the Keystone. Makes no sense especially after all the train derailment.

To reduce taxes the City should reduce funding to the Public Library and Parks Department. The library is no longer relevant to most citizens.

What freedoms have we lost? You cannot speak out and tell the truth because you will be called a bigot or a racist. You cannot speak out because you will hurt someone’s feelings. You cannot speak out because of what children are being taught and that there actually are winners and losers. Woke infringement!

I was a little amused by the post saying there is no problem with the lab just go online and make an appointment. That may be fine for routine bloodwork where you can book a month in advance but if you are sick and need bloodwork done today or tomorrow that doesn’t work. In addition not everyone is computer literate. The bottom line is an essential service such as this should not be privatized, and the primary goal should be service and not profit.

We appreciate customers bringing in reusable bags. Wish they would wash them. When they stink of smoke or are covered in pet hair remember that your food is going in them and we have to touch them. They are gross.

Dynalife statement in the article published about the current situation of the wait times for lab tests says it people are served within 40 minutes…. what a joke. I was in the lab yesterday and it was three hours. Staff was polite but obviously overworked with the demand.

It’s so difficult having a young child in need of a regular family doctor and a pediatrician, yet having to see different doctors at walk-ins instead. Our children are hurting.

I am seriously concerned Albertans will need to pay or copayment for doctors visits in the near future. It seems we are moving to a United States type of health care.

While I appreciate people wearing their helmets while riding, having loose or unbuckled straps totally defeats the purpose of the helmet. A good bike shop will be happy to adjust it for you.

I’d be tickled pink if tow trucks drove in front of street sweepers and moved vehicles so the streets can be properly cleaned for all our benefit and so street sweepers can move faster.
