I want to thank the individual who responded to and explained to me how to recycle my paper utility bill; such good information, also to the person who described the ease with which I can access my utility account, etc., etc. Super and all wonderful suggestions. What should I do if I don’t own a computer and can’t afford to buy one?

Ticked off the city seems to no longer use water when cleaning the streets and there is a big cloud of dust surrounding the street sweepers. Have a little consideration for residents. You don’t have to flood the streets but at least use enough water to eliminate the dust. Thank you.

Thank you to the one who brought up a pricing issue to the council. It actually quietly got changed to match monthly. It may not seem like a big deal, a few bucks, but a few bucks here and a few bucks there do add up. A person looks at prices in grocery stores and buys the best value. To save need to do this with everything.

Would the City of Medicine Hat please fix ALL the potholes? Our taxes increase, city workers wages etc. increase and the many potholes increase.

The letter to the editor: take caution around city wildlife was bang on! It reminds me of an adult who stopped their vehicle in front to allow a youth to get out stand on in my yard with his back to a large male deer to take a selfie with it! I did yell at him to leave the deer alone. If something happened to that youth it would of been the deer’s fault and would want it euthanized. The sheer stupidity of people amazes me.

Bring back the fun. Lighten up. What happened to your long tradition of April Fool’s story? Dilbert? Maybe start a fun picture or “seen about town.”

Admire the strength and courage of the Russian hockey players and others who did not participate in Pride night. We live in a free country and everyone’s choice should be respected.

For those who think energy transition is misguided, take a look at your grocery bill. Why is it so high? Climate change is a big factor, it causes extreme weather events, yes, but it also causes drought. This affects food production. Hard to grow crops with no water. Compounded by the fact that cows, pigs and chickens need food too. Thus we have a big problem. Like it or not, we are part of a global economy. Food shortage in one part of the earth affects us too, prices rise in our local grocery store.

When will managers of organizations that the City of Medicine Hat supports realize that the citizens of Medicine Hat are their ultimate employer? If they are not good communicators, they should be replaced by persons who are if they wish to receive support from the citizens.

The annual versus monthly has been resolved, it is now just the same. Some people care that advertised best value is indeed a best value. If you never say anything change will not occur.

Tickled Pink reading how e-billing is so much better than paper bills because you don’t have to go through all the hassle of doing one thing or another to protect your privacy because your name and address is on the bill or envelope. I would bet the same people making those claims have three times as much personal information on Facebook for the entire world to see.

When something is advertised as best value and it isn’t, it is wrong. The pricing for membership fees yearly and monthly are now the same for this year. As for increased prices, you actually believe prices will not go up? They go up every year! Saying something doesn’t make a person an idiot but money conscientious.
