Special shout out to the Medicine Hat Ringette association U16B Matrix team for hosting an incredible Ringette Alberta provincials. It was wonderful to see it so well attended by teams from all over Alberta.

That it’s mainly young men taking their large dogs walking on the pathways on long leashes and thinking it’s OK to let their dog lunge at oncoming walkers, thinking we love their dog. If I am walking without a dog then I sure don’t want yours making me jump out of its way. Be considerate.

Ticked off at neighbours who pretend to go to work every morning. So annoying.

Tickled pink that we can practise our religion and have freedom of speech in Canada. To the lady that was upset with the Mother Goose and Grimm cartoon, the phrase “Hail Mary” in football was started about 90 years ago by members of the University of Notre Dame team – a very Roman Catholic school. Considering Mary was born a Jew, the idea of her having anything to do with a “pigskin” seems ludicrous as well. It is humour, not an attack on any religion.

At the guy who keeps complaining about the annual versus monthly membership fee. Just switch to the monthly fee and you’ll get your value and quit complaining about it before they raise both to solve the problem. Some things should just be kept quiet. You’re the one that is the idiot not to just take advantage of the better deal.

E-billing may have some issues but if this concerned, should be infuriated at crypto-currency generated locally which is co-owned with an American company. Now that is a real waste!

I am still waiting for a refund from WestJet for my cancelled flight from Calgary to Medicine Hat on February 19. Told it was due to weather, it was rescheduled to two days later! Yet three flights went to Edmonton, and there was no bad weather here that night. I was refused assistance for hotel, three meals or the shuttle and certainly no offer of the $500 compensation for a delay of nine hours or more. Thank heavens my travel agent warned me so I did not miss my flight out of Calgary. Yet by not booking a complete round trip, it cost more than if I had booked flights to and from the Hat.

Do not be lulled by the reports of underground carbon capture being safe. An analysis of the 2022 earthquake at Reno, Alberta, south of Peace River, where I lived for almost 20 years, indicated it was due to the practice of underground storage.

Been at the blood lab for hour having to fast ,and still waiting. Health care sucks, but the technicians are excellent.

Wildlife is just that, wild; especially protective when their young are nearby. Don’t feed, try taming them, then vilify them for doing what is natural. Watch and learn about them; keep your distance. Quit believing animals behave as they do in all those animated fantasy movies.
