While the new rows of ‘wind farms’ are now visible to me, I look at them as future energy stations for grandkids and great-grandkids as fossil fuels disappear.The next 30 years will look different, be better with energy sources coming from many new methods. A clear prairie view is nice but won’t light a city or fuel a vehicle! Yes to all forms of solar!

Think I will just skip watching CHAT news as all they do is rebroadcast Global news stories. Not sure what happened to our station, but I remember when they used to win awards for local stories. Now we’re lucky to get some weather, because sports is always U.S. stories.

That when a Canadian championship is on, we get to watch sailing and a car race from the U.S. Shouldn’t we show Canadian sports on the major “Canadian” station, and let the other four channels show the U.S. stuff?

For a party of so-called “economists” they have the largest caucus party ever. This overload of caucus salaries are coming out of tax dollars.

That the federal and provincial government are considering tougher bail rules. Tougher bail rules have been tried in the past by both the Conservatives and Liberals but have been overturned by the Supreme Court of Canada. The problem is the SCOC, not the laws.

Moose Jaw and Lethbridge both announced the dollar figure it cost sponsors to get naming rights on their new rec buildings. But, oh no, not Medicine Hat. The Hat taxpayer and public are not capable of dealing with this info. Everything in the Hat must be kept secret. The bureaucrats know best.

That the Emergencies Act Report stated that Emergencies Act was justified. Sure there were mistakes made and failures, but it was an appropriate response to the crazy situations occurring across Canada.

Trudeau spends the majority of his time traveling the world, and then gives away as much Canadian taxpayer money as he can to anyone that will speak to him.

Justice Rouleau’s final report reflects just another “rigged” Liberal commission set up to give Trudeau a favourable outcome. When will Canadians “Just transition” and vote these clowns out?

To me the Emergencies Act report basically states persons exercising their rights to commit criminal acts are not allowed to take away the rights of law bidding citizens.

All indications are that Trudeau ordered the U.S. to shoot down a Hobby Club balloon with a $400K U.S. missile. Very macho.

Have noticed vehicles displaying obscured licence plates contrary to traffic laws. Thought licence plates had to be visible to law enforcement at all times, otherwise why do we need them at all? Guess there will always be those who think they are above the law.

That Kamloops is able to host both a national curling championship and the Memorial Cup in the same city owned facility within a few months of the other. Good for them! It would take many volunteers I would think, plus a spirit of co-operation among all parties. Not to mention the economic spinoff.

The premier has not been seen in Brooks-Medicine Hat since Nov. 25, 2022 and appears on Feb. 22 for a UCP fundraiser – only those who pay can “see” her.

Very ticked off “The Gas City” is buying 85% or more of the natural gas we use from outside sources, at least according to the article in Saturday’s News. What a shame that this utility which provided so much for the city has been left to deteriorate to the point it is all but dead, and nothing seems to be being done about.
