Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Feb. 9

Tickled Pink

Some people need to understand the check-out process a little better, before blaming the shopper. It was the stores that introduced self check-out, so that they could reduce their employee numbers.

Ticked Off

Thankful for the warm weather as of late. Not so for the gut wrenching stink of the winter accumulation of dog crap of neighbours on both sides. Should be a law. At least not allowing idiots from having dogs.

Ticked Off

I wonder how many votes Premier Smith lost by neglecting many Albertans from the recent $600 dollar payout plan.

Ticked Off

It is ridiculous how may deer are roaming Medicine Hat. Maybe they should load them up and move them to a bush area in northern Alberta.

Ticked Off

Why was there so little celebration on Groundhog Day? It should be at least three days long. Harmless little holiday, not like those other holidays.

Ticked Off

Ticked to read UCP. are pursuing the idea of pulling Alberta out of CPP. Surprisingly one of the best pension plans. If it doesn’t need fixing, leave it alone. The big question is who would administer it. Also when do we get the vote on doing this.

Tickled Pink

I just want to say a million thank-yous to the gentleman who owns the Husky Service Station at 16th Street SW and the highway. I fell going into his store on Jan. 16 and he rushed out and lifted me up took me into the store gave me a chair to sit on and a glass of water. He wanted to call EMS but I said no, then he made sure I got to my car safely so I drove myself to the emergency thank you again for your kind help.

Ticked Off

Such high costs on groceries but I do not believe these prices are going away as stores, distributors, factories will just wait until people adjust to the market and continue charging same prices.

Ticked Off

That after arriving home after going through fast food drive-thru, I am very disappointed to get dried up stubby fries because someone was too lazy to make me fresh ones. Next time I will come back and complain.

Ticked Off

At how many people walking their dogs on our paths and trails don’t pick up after their dog’s poop. It goes with owning a dog and not cleaning up after them is disgusting and irresponsible.

Tickled Pink

The Tigers thumped the Pats. Star Connor Bedard did not deliver. Will the sell-out crowd be back to support the Tigers?

Ticked Off

Self check-outs? Hockey arena location? Some people need to find meaningful things to whine and complain about. You can’t stop progress.

Tickled Pink

With the result of the the Pats/Tigers game on Sunday. The Tigers played extremely well in front of a sold-out crowd and showed all those fans who came to see Bedard that the Tigers are a really competitive team. To top it all off, our rising star Gavin McKenna had two assists and Bedard only got on the score sheet once.

Ticked Off

I’m curious, “Just toured the ATB Centre in Lethbridge.” The Co-op Place is a beautiful facility. Seats are nice, food is great, staff is friendly. Exactly why should Medicine Hat “hang their head in shame?”

Ticked Off

I never understand in this digital world why it takes businesses so long to send out your income tax information. It isn’t like they have to manually calculate just verify it.

Tickled Pink

The location of Co-op Place is perfect. The north side of town needs more development. The south side has stores that I didn’t even know existed and have been open for two years! Let’s make this whole city great! Not just one area. We south-side people shouldn’t be so selfish! It’s only a 15-minute drive to the north side.

Tickled Pink

Good to see a sell-out crowd at Co-Op Place. Hopefully city had people watching traffic flow. One exit on each side of the building doesn’t cut it. Just ticks people off trying to get home. The last impression is the one people remember the most.
