Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Oct. 18

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on October 18, 2022.

Tickled Pink

I absolutely love the hypocrisy! The NDP and Liberals are always beaking off about the empowerment of strong, independent women, unless that woman is a Conservative. Then it’s out for the jugular! Take a good look in the mirror hypocrites.

Ticked Off

That our unelected premier considers the unvaccinated to be victims of persecution. Let’s not forget these are the people who chose their ‘freedom’ over the greater good and championed blockades and convoys that interfered with the rights, freedoms and livelihoods of others.

Ticked Off

Stop looking solely at party titles. Focus on the person you’re selecting to represent you; their track record, credibility and platforms. Who of those is notorious for spouting outlandish claims, costly self serving ideals, draws us in long enough to win her position, then switches parties, platforms and policies without any elected mandate. Is this really who we want to represent us in the Hat, or lead Alberta?

Ticked Off

Suppressed under previous premier, now, an uneducated scientifically constipated new premier wants to boot out our chief medical officer? Not an action of a clear thinking leader that represents ‘the majority’ of voters.

Ticked Off

A vocal +/-25% dissenting minority honestly expects they trump over our +/-75% quiet law abiding majority? Recall, school report cards scored 40% or less was a failing grade. Would be tickled pink if all would stop getting louder and be better informed to rationally improve your argument if you want to be taken seriously.

Tickled Pink

Happy to see some who lives in the area wanting to be elected in this area. If you don’t live in the area you shouldn’t be elected for that area.

Ticked Off

Smith wants Barnes who was kicked out of the party to support the Brooks-Medicine Hat area until elections. This new premier gets worse each time she opens her mouth. Both walked across the floor, maybe they are best of buddies. (Editor’s note: Drew Barnes did not cross the floor and, in fact, was extremely critical of those who did, including Smith. Looks like they’ve made up though.)

Ticked Off

The Emergencies Act inquiry is going to last 6 weeks. Afterwards they should have an inquiry into why so much time and money was wasted on the inquiry.

Ticked Off

Dog walkers be advised. I now have a sticker on my garbage bin forbidding you from depositing your refuse. I will notify bylaw if this continues. I encourage others who have had enough of this outrageous behaviour to do the same.

Tickled Pink

I’m curious. You’re upset because someone put a small bag of poop in your garbage container. If the bag contained a half eaten apple and a couple of napkins would you still be upset? Or would that be OK? I would rather see the poop put in a bag and disposed of, than left on the ground for everyone to enjoy.

Ticked Off

Why does Carry Drive look like a dog’s breakfast? Paths, sidewalks to nowhere and this red concrete?

Tickled Pink

In the spring you will have two choices, voting for Danielle Smith who isn’t afraid of standing up to Trudeau, or voting for Rachel Notley, who in her last term as premier came close to removing Alberta from the map.

Ticked Off

Thank you, editor, for keeping foul language and lies out, I wish it was that easy to get Smith out. When did she get her medical degree and licence?. She is scary.

Ticked Off

How biased can you get? The visual and talk media attempt to beat Premier Danielle Smith into the ground on her first two days in office while still giving Rachel Notley a free ride for the last five years.

Ticked Off

I agree that Russian Olive trees are a blight on our community. I wish Mayor Clugston would take a stand on this issue. He makes the most sense on city council. (Editor’s note: I’ve got some really, really old news for you…)

Ticked Off

Persons with disabilities are the most discriminated group I have witnessed during my lifetime. Discriminated by the UPC government over and over again.

Ticked Off

To the person who was happy businesses were closed during the pandemic. Did you notice all the crowded big-box stores, liquor stores and cannabis shops were allowed to stay open and continue to make money? It was all the independent businesses that took a beating and are always just trying to survive.

Ticked Off

Not a fan of Pierre Poilievre, but Trudeau has to go. Can’t wait for next election, I think Ontario and Quebec finally see the light.

Ticked Off

Are the Tri City Americans such sore losers they refuse to pick three stars?

Ticked Off

To all those people holding signs on 13th Avenue, there are lots of places who desperately needs volunteers. Why not be a help to society instead of holding up ridiculous signs looking like fools?

Ticked Off

Gas in Ontario is lower than in Albert. We may be considered the oil and gas province but Albertans are getting screwed over.
