It’s laughable that some people think carbon tax is to blame in any way for high gas prices. In the first quarter of 2022, Alberta’s largest oil companies made billions of dollars in profit – check the financial statements. These gas prices are caused by high global demand, and more importantly, corporate greed at the expense of the consumer.

Ticked off every time someone on my street gets some cement work done and I end up with the leftovers behind my fence. It’s ridiculous. I’ve got clumps of concrete where they dump the excess and dry chunks on my fence from where they hosed off their equipment. How can these companies get away with it?

Tickled pink to see so many teachers being acknowledged for their retirement and years of dedication to the Prairie Rose School Division. Ticked off that none of the support staff warranted a place with their picture and write-up in the same advertisement. Support staff offer a huge part of any school system and I’ve had the privilege of knowing many of them. Not sure why they get overlooked.

To the small percentage of people cranking about the e-scooters. Do you even know how the process works, or are you just complaining to be heard. Take a few minutes to learn. You will soon realize that the scooters do not get “abandoned” and they are not solely rode by “twenty somethings”.

Ticked off with all the backyard fire pits. We finally get some nice weather so we can have our windows open or sit out on our deck and the stink is nauseating.

Not sure why people have their knickers in a knot because Tamara Lich is rearrested for breaking bail conditions she AGREED to follow! She agreed and broke the agreement off to jail you go. Any other person you wouldn’t care about.

I’ve lived here over 60 years and have never seen our parks look as terrible as this year. No trimming – in fact I lost my dog for a short period of time in the long grass on one of the Crescent Heights parks. The new mayor should be totally embarrassed. Oh, but the sea cans look great… LOL.

It’s so nice to find out that Mr. Parkinson is so much smarter than Dr. Tam. I for one think our medical professionals did a fantastic job during unprecedented times. How would you have handled things Mr. Parkinson? It’s so easy to scrutinize after the high stress times are over.

Canada Day and all the celebrations are here, The vast majority of us love this great country, so show our flag the respect it rightfully deserves and stop giving those who feel otherwise a front page picture while they boast support for a lawbreaker.
