Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, May 26

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on May 26, 2022.

Tickled Pink

That when we attended “The Debaters” at the Esplanade, we were fortunate enough to wander through the exhibition gallery to see the local art from our schools. What a wonderful display! Right from the youngest to the oldest, I was amazed at the talent of the students we have here! All should be very proud, and now with everyone having a phone, go get your photo with your artwork! What a great keepsake! Keep your artistic minds open and push the envelope!

Tickled Pink?

I would be tickled pink if somebody would come into Redcliff and get rid of all the deer destroying things. I’m also ticked off Redcliff council has known about the problem for three years and does nothing about it.

Ticked Off

Health-care system is strained at best. Unrealistic expectations from some individuals receiving care in homes. AHS needs to give clients the clear picture! Tired of verbal diarrhea from some.

Ticked Off

Ever meet someone who has an answer for everything? Methinks they are power trippin…

Tickled Pink

That we have citizens among us who rely almost exclusively on their ever-reliable 20/20 hindsight. How many of these critics are ever really “in the moment,” or “at the table” when difficult decisions have to be made? What a comfortable, safe and secure vantage point it must be for those who insist on chirping ad nauseum about issues after the fact.

Ticked Off

What could be worse than Jason Kenney? Rachel Notley, she already proved that fact. Also a Scott Schmidt article too.

Ticked Off

I would love to know why Jason Kenney is going to labour on despite having admitted lack of support. I suppose a narcissist would think the province would descend into chaos without him. My vote is to move on right now – selection process be damned. Is he saying all of his ministers of the crown are incompetent?

Tickled Pink

So happy Kenney is gone, not sure if his replacement will be any better.

Ticked Off

That the Alberta top court struck down bill C 69 as unconstitutional. This is the no more pipelines bill that was passed in 2019 by the Liberals. While a transition to a greener economy is made, the world still needs oil. Rather than get it from Russia, Iran and Saudi Arabia where environmental standards are nonexistent, why would we handcuff ethical oil and gas in Alberta?

Tickled Pink

I just started listening to CHAT 94.5 in the early mornings, and I get a kick out of the two nuts for announcers. I will keep tuned in. I love the gravelly voice.

Ticked Off

That the off-leash area is right beside the on-leash area and yet you still let your dogs run free in the on-leash area. I just don’t get it with you dog owners.

Ticked Off

Interesting how we get almost daily reports on the ground radar searches of the former Residential School sites, yet in 2021, 68 Christian churches in Canada were vandalized, burned down or desecrated and we hear nothing. At a recent House of Commons Public Safety committee, Conservative MP Dane Lloyd grilled security officials for failing to investigate the church burnings.

Ticked Off

Please don’t feed the deer. They are not hungry. They are full of flowers and plants from people’s yards. You are teaching them to expect handouts and when they don’t get them everybody’s yard suffers.

Ticked Off

The NHL needs to adopt a zero tolerance policy, like in international hockey, of players going into the crease. If an opposing player sets up camp in the crease, the play is blown dead. Unfortunately, this will never happen because for some teams and players it’s the only way they know how to play.
