Tickled pink I’ll soon be able to charge my electric car with my own rooftop solar. The operating cost will be 1 cent per km, compared to 20 cents per km for my old gasoline-powered car. Plus, my electric car goes 0-100 km/hr in four seconds.

The ONLY reason the city is expunging the bylaw on skateboarding on city streets is because they plan on introducing e-scooters. Why can’t they just be honest about it? I think the “thing” that makes most people’s blood boil (as with photo radar saving children’s lives), is that there is always a “story” and no one speaks the truth.

It would be nice to see more garbage cans around the city, even on walk ways.

That the City is now thinking of allowing skateboarding downtown after banning it before when it caused issues for businesses and pedestrians. These same issues will still exist. Will they never learn?

That the private sector can provide some medical services, It is good they can make a little profit instead of letting the overpaid government bureaucrats and unions slow walk services to keep their jobs. Much better to have a little profit instead of a lot of waste. Governments can not do anything without it costing more and taking longer.

Tickled pink to the community members and kids who worked so hard over the weekend to pick up garbage and debris. Ticked off to the careless and inconsiderate people who littered the walking paths the next day.

We can’t keep our own military armed but we’re sending Ukraine brand new lethal aid like candy, and with supply chain issues we won’t be able to replace it for years! It’s great when you’re part of no alliance but don’t have to pay for any of your weapons. Another war by proxy just like countless others, just no one paid attention before because the media didn’t tell them to.

Hanging your country’s flag upside is a statement that means your country is in disarray. To say that Canada is not in disarray is foolish, considering our rights and freedoms are gradually being taken away. More people need to be vocal or Canada will end up like Russia or the Ukraine.

To the lady in the black Lincoln SUV honking at people coming off the highway by the Lodge – there’s no yield sign there, there are three lanes. Maybe learn the rules of the road!

Zoning for residential should be just that. An update in needed in the southeast end by the overpass. Market value for homes is at a disadvantage where a certain facility has been for decades!
