Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, April 21

Ticked Off

How many people keep loose change on them? My guess is not many, so why are there still feminine hygiene machines in bathrooms that require payment? Why do women have to pay for a basic human right? Imagine when out on a date she leaves her purse at the table, must go back to the table, and then back to the bathroom? Her dignity has just now been shattered. Donating a box of feminine products every now and then when going anywhere that has a bathroom can change a woman’s day. Give women their dignity, rights and humanity; provide them with an essential item.

Thank you to the volunteers at Veiner Centre/Kerby Centre for doing taxes!

Tickled Pink

Tickled Pink with the berm on Industrial Avenue. Roadway, lighting, landscape and fencing all complete. What a beautiful job! Thanks to all.

Ticked Off

It ticks me off to see all of the recent acts of graffiti in the South Ridge area. Please have some respect for our neighbourhoods.

Ticked Off

What’s better, quantity or quality? If only given five minutes of time, what assistance is that?

Tickled Pink

I shake my head where neighbours can behave like unruly children. Life is way too short for your pettiness!

Ticked Off

That the trail system does not exist/continue between the Library and the Trans-Canada Bridge on the south side of the river, and a short portion on the north side as well. Is this not city-owned and taxpayer land? Let’s look into this, council!

Tickled Pink

I’d be tickled pink if large employers like the college, AHS, school boards and municipalities would offer their employees discounted monthly (or yearly) city bus passes.

Ticked Off

MP Glen Motz needs to work harder for farmers and ranchers.

Tickled Pink

If people would ask themselves if their lives are better now, or before Trudeau was prime minister.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off to see a Conservative candidate charge $200 a plate then offer a lecture about economic injustice. The cryptocurrency changes he wants are for his fat-cat friends who want to hide their money.

Tickled Pink

What a generous donation from dental office to YMCA – wow, thank you!

Tickled Pink

Tickled pink when they just merge Highway 3 traffic onto westbound Trans-Canada at Sixth Street, instead of having everyone stop and wait at the red light.

Tickled Pink

Tickled Pink that we get carbon tax rebates that are more than what we pay out.

Tickled Pink

To those who are opening their heart and homes to Ukrainian families, you are truly showcasing the best of mankind… thank you!

Tickled Pink

If the biggest thing you can gripe about is the condition of the flags on the Tepee, that is a good day in my books.
