Tickled pink that there is a free 5-kilometre Strathcona Island Park run every Saturday morning. Thank-you to all the wonderful volunteers!

Imagine working at your job for 10 years, putting in overtime, paperwork and dealing with stressful situations and get a little pay increase on the promise that the big pay increase is coming. The day comes and your job now thinks you deserve a rollback because they don’t value your work and they hire other people from other provinces/USA and reward them with a monetary incentive. So happy to know I am as easy to outsource as the common appliance; this government has turned Alberta into a joke.

Why was MP Motz selected to sit on Emergencies Act committee? His previous comments and actions concerning the trucker protests are biased against a fair and honest appraisal of the decision to invoke it. As a member of the opposition, it appears he was selected to be a disrupter. Hopefully he will try to remember his law-enforcement training and experience relating to the rule of law.

I had no idea Kin Coulee was a dog park. So much for a nice quite walk. The amount of dog poop the city hauls away is a disgrace, what a smelly mess it is down there. To all dog owners, keep your mutts in your own back yard and take care of your own poop.

That you can’t request songs from a radio station anymore. If the song isn’t on their company playlist, they can’t play it!

I would be tickled pink if the temp city CAO would stay on for a few years. Seems things were in a lot better shape when she was in charge. In addition she would always reply to emails whether she knew you or not, while most of the previous council would not ever reply if they didn’t know you. Maybe that’s why most aren’t in office anymore.

Our political party representatives all need a house cleaning. Waste of money as they accomplish nothing for the greater good of the province other than lose sight of the objective of their position and become power hungry!

The UCP is cutting pay for respiratory therapists, the very people working with Albertans to overcome the effects of long COVID. This is wrong, it’s incompetent. We need real support for public health care and the workers on its frontlines. Obviously this party didn’t get the memo, Albertans don’t like Kenney’s ideology of, if you don’t have oil on your face you need a pay cut!
