Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, July 8

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on July 8, 2021.

Ticked Off

Voting system in Canada needs to be updated to make it fair for all provinces. Not leaving the prairie provinces out in the cold as our votes don’t carry enough weight to make any difference!

Ticked Off

Some bicycle riders on city paths are just ignorant! They sneak up behind you doing 20-30 km/h and don’t use their bells and then when you ask them to use the bell, I have been told to piss off or F off. You are a disgrace to the bicycling community.

Ticked Off

If you think Alberta or western independence is a good idea, there’s a cluster of a country to our south that I’d bet would gladly take you in.

Tickled Pink

I am so happy that life is opening up again. Looking forward to the visual arts show at the end of the month. Thank you to the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede board for this art display, the Canada Day celebration and the other events they are holding at the end of the month. Life returns to (a kind of) normal.

Ticked Off

If your paving crew must relieve themselves do it against one of your many work trucks you had around here! Not between garbage and garage. This was not the customer you were working for either. Disgusting.

Tickled Pink

Happy happy that the crossword font has been enlarged. Now I can do the puzzles again as even with my glasses I found it difficult to read. Thank you to whomever made that decision.

Ticked Off

Why is it that people insist on pulling out behind you to pass and cut then in front, I check and I am driving the limit. I want hold out a sign to congratulate them for getting to the light before the rest.

Ticked Off

Why does it bother you so much that someone rode their bike through the crosswalk instead of getting off and walking? Just more for you to complain about I guess.

Tickled Pink

Thank you to the lovely lady who paid for my McDonalds on Monday after we were stuck in a traffic jam at the drive-thru! You made my day!

Ticked Off

Stop saying property taxes did not increase, we are not stupid. Just semantics at its best. Stop pushing all recreation to the north side of the city, we are not going there! Thank goodness elections are coming.

Ticked Off

At council for touting financially fit, cut here cut there, lay off city workers, yet finds $4.5 million to spend on relief … in an election year.

Ticked Off

Take another look at the front page of the News for July 6. Look at those two men congratulating themselves on buying votes in our upcoming municipal election with $4.5 million of our money. “Financially Fit” my patootie.

Tickled Pink

High-five to everyone who is still wearing a mask. Good for you for taking care of yourselves and others by doing this. Thank you.

Because the law says, it is a pedestrian crosswalk and you must walk across and not ride your bike over it. Idiot!!!!!!
