I’d be so tickled pink to hear that Mr. Clugston has changed his mind about running for mayor. This city is my home. Not a business or political platform. We need a mayor who cares.

Since being elected almost two years ago, our MLAs Michaela Glasgo and Drew Barnes have together made more than half a million dollars. Have you gotten your money’s worth? I haven’t and I’m angry.

At the wisdom my grandfather told me many years ago about politicians. If their lips are moving they are lying.

So frustrated with the local restaurants choosing to ignore the current restrictions; especially with all the cases of restaurants/bars being the cause of recent outbreaks in other cities in Alberta.

I can’t figure out why the city isn’t opening up the paratransit. When I phone they usually tell me the bus is full, but when I see them driving, there’s maybe one or two people on.

In all my years of driving, I have never seen the city roads in such terrible shape.

Thanks so much to the service department at Parkcity Toyota. I came in with the smallest of needs and you pleasantly surprised me with your over and above kindness and service.

Social media isn’t dividing us, it’s your inane opinions that you confuse for facts and mistakenly assume everyone wants to hear. You don’t have to listen to the experts, but you don’t get to pretend to be one either.

With the April 16th front page picture of two deer nuzzling and especially the paragraph beside reminding us “Don’t forget to love.” Love unites us and comforts us all.

That politicians no longer care what the people that elected them think, nor believe themselves accountable for their actions.

Great to have patios open but they are just packed with no social distancing being followed.

That your loose dog runs and jumps at me on the path. No I don’t like dogs, and please don’t tell me he’s harmless, and won’t bite!

That we allow the police to police themselves, has anyone heard the one about the fox guarding the hen house?

At people that dump their ashtrays full of cigarette butts on the street, guess a garbage can is too much effort for some people.

That our government does not allow us to have a proper funeral service and burial for our loved ones and friends that have passed away.

I’m a senior citizen and had just got out of hospital. I had gone Walmart and the cashier and lady in front of me helped to pack my groceries and then that customer paid for my groceries, too. I’m 93 years old and I am amazed by the kindness of the younger generation in this city.
