Will the City of Medicine Hat bother to water the 400 new trees it is going to plant at Echo Dale Park this summer? They never bothered at Co-op Place, or along the berms in the Flats – and most of them have died. What a waste of money. Who is in charge of City Hall?

Apparently huge fines are not enough to deter people from texting and talking on their phones while driving, because I see it every single day. I could make the city a large amount of cash if they let me write tickets to people doing this.

How refreshing to hear the UCP will now listen to the public in regard to any further coal mining. What about the leases they managed to sneak in, prior to the public’s uproar?

Tickled pink just wondering what beautiful colours we will see in the downtown core this year when we get our hanging baskets and our flower planters! Always such a beautiful sight downtown!

At all the pickup trucks driving city streets with no mud flaps or rock guards of any kind, especially now with all of the gravel on the ground. By the way, does our city not have a bylaw against this? Come on traffic and bylaw, show us you can.

I have never voted NDP but if they run a credible candidate in Medicine Hat I will sure be voting for them next election. They did a much better job of running the province than the current government, and that was before COVID.
