Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Feb. 16

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on February 16, 2021.

Tickled Pink

For the way Medicine Hat residents have worked and sacrificed to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This will benefit all in the long run.

Ticked Off

It will be interesting to see if the UPC government is listening to the protests and petitions from the electorate – remember those folks who voted you into power? – in regard to the strip mining planned for our Rockies. The entire furtive project is ready to start blasting and moving earth. This is typical of how this party governs.

Tickled Pink

That I received exceptional service at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Made me feel like they value their customers.

Ticked Off

Pipeline permits revoked. This does not stop the flow of oil, but now going by rail, a far more dangerous transport. Farmers will now have stiff competition for space, derailments increasing.

Ticked Off

While I agree the berm needs to be built, simple common sense would tell you not to remove wildlife habitat in the middle of winter. Once again City management at its finest.

Tickled Pink

Fantastic article by Cash Moore. Dare I say he has more common sense and objectivity than every failed NDP supporter that frequently bombard this paper with their drivel.

Ticked Off

Allison Redford plans to build an extravagant penthouse for herself and the people protest; she builds it anyway. Jason Kenney plans a $30 million ‘war room’ and the people protest; he builds it anyway. The government decides to demolish the Foothills/Rockies in order to pit mine for coal and the people protest? This government does exactly what it wants and it’s time we realized that.

Tickled Pink

The Governor General’s resignation is another ‘epic’ fail for Justin Trudeau, and demonstrates his poor decision making and lack of skills for the job of Prime Minister of Canada.

Ticked Off

Bank fees. I rarely go into the bank, but pay bank fees which are ridiculous. There should be a reduced rate for those that don’t use the physical facility.

Ticked Off

To make it fair for all businesses, all businesses should have had to rotate closures. Close all but one Tim’s or McDonalds including the drive-thru in Medicine Hat. Make Walmart decide if they are a paint, hardware, clothing or grocery store during the lockdown. It would have been fairer for all.

Ticked Off

This council doesn’t want to look after anything. Now they’ve leased out the Veiner Centre.

Ticked Off

We have got to stop the UCP from trudging through the province like a bull in a china shop, with no clue of the damage they’re doing to our water, environment, wildlife, etc.
