Watching how totally inept our politicians at all levels really are when the going gets tough is awe-inspiring isn’t it? At least important issues like who’s on vacation where and impeaching a president, that will be gone in a week, are getting dealt with. How about expediting the rollout of the COVID vaccine and focusing on getting the economy rolling and people working again. Pathetic.

Ticked off that the city is even considering selling the power plant. There is a reason the city has owned it for 111 years. Selling the plant would be as intelligent as building a $12-million solar (thermal) field, only to have it reduced to scrap metal. Say goodbye to your Medicine Hat advantage if a deal is struck.

I can’t have more than five people in my bubble, but NHL can travel with 25 players, coaches, trainers, club staff, reporters, TV people on a plane and go all over the country.

Selling of the power business off seems a bit idiotic when we just got into that business at a cost of $75 million for the turbine. Wake up Medicine Hat they will run this city into the ground then leave.
