Is it just me or was the recent Throne Speech a big waste of time? Most people are struggling to pay their bills and keep food on the table and they want you to spend a bunch of money to retrofit your house/business to be more green.

Asymptomatic testing halted, Dr Hinshaw says results show minimal positives so for people who choose to wear masks in public you should feel “safer” knowing that the chances are pretty slim of contracting the COVID.

It is disappointing but not surprising that 60 per cent of the respondents do not support wearing a mask. Our medical professionals recommend for safer health; however, these people prefer the higher risk of infection.

It seems to me the results of the mandatory mask survey show Hatters are uneducated or selfish.

I’m at the end of my rope with customers who come into my small business and give me attitude when I inform them of my COVID-19 rules. Masks, one customer at a time and no groups, sanitize, sign in and no bathroom usage. Very simple. Have a sign on my front door, but people come in expecting special privilege and get mad at me when I inform them of the rules. I don’t need or want these people as customers.

So our Premier, who cashes a monthly pay cheque of nearly $16,000 per month, believes people on AISH receiving about 10 per cent of that amount need to tighten their spending and expectations. I guess he figures they all can live in their mother’s basement to save money.

It shouldn’t be too hard to cut the police budget, they no longer attend accidents, impaired driving is no longer against the law and illegal drugs are no longer illegal so we should need far fewer officers.

Why is the solar site at the power plant being torn down? It appears workers are taking it apart. Did we not pay millions of dollars for it?
