I guess the word “mandatory” means nothing when it comes to wearing face masks as many still go on in these locations without or using it as a neck warmer. No enforcement, no compliance.

If people could stop promoting tattooing as a positive way to develop identity or deal with loss. It isn’t.

I will be tickled pink when pro athletes destroy their own sports over politics and then need day jobs.

Protests are against ‘police brutality’ not the police; let’s get that straight. At this point, if the good cops are not willing to hold their bad counterparts accountable then they are implicitly part of the problem. When medical doctors commit malpractices, I don’t hear people say “oh but the majority of doctors are good so it is OK.” Those doctors lose their licence and practice so why do we continue to make excuses for bad cops?

You live in a free society, which used to mean you had a responsibility and willingness to look out for each other. Now it means when people start dying you start whining about your precious freedoms. Grow up.

So many businesses are requiring masks, thank you. Would be wonderful if all business did and wait staff.

I can’t understand why the city tells us to conserve water yet the parks department literally drowns some of the parks every two nights. The ones I see have no new sod which might require extra water. Save some taxpayers dollars. Would not once a week be adequate?

With the selling of flower bouquets sold for mental health on Sept. 10 and with a lady in line ahead of me. I was going to buy one to remember a friend who had passed away several years ago. They were sold out when it got to where I was at the end of the line, but a lady with short blond hair gave me hers. Thanks so much to her and the organizers. It gave me goose bumps. Awesome.

I would be tickled pink if the Medicine Hat Mall made it mandatory for everyone to wear a mask so that we could go shopping at the mall again. It looks like all my shopping will continue to be done online unless I go to Calgary or Lethbridge where they have mandated masks in all public indoor spaces.
