Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Feb. 13, 2020

Ticked Off

Giving $50 million to MasterCard is such a waste. Think of how many oil companies we could have given that cash to.

Ticked Off

That the best walking trails along nature are off-leash areas. While I love the paths, I’m in fear for my safety. Please, if your dog is going to jump on everyone it meets, don’t let it off-leash.

Ticked Off

The city seems to have lots of money for new buses and other new vehicles as well as wages for city workers, but none for needed services which they keep cutting back on or raising user fees for.

Tickled Pink

With the Superstore customer who bought me a Starbucks gift card while my baby was screaming in the checkout line. You left before I could say thank you. I hope this reaches you and your kindness!

Ticked Off

That the cafeteria at the hospital hasn’t got any good food choices. Miss the old food choices. Even if they had some of the same choices as patients.

Ticked Off

With provincial party representatives. They all are a bunch of fluff and all are a sandwich short of a picnic.

Ticked Off

Very sad at how many of the stores are closing in the mall. Maybe they should drop they rent and then they may keep stores.

Ticked Off

That the soup kitchen location is downtown. The homeless people milling around the area at all hours is very disturbing to local citizens and the local business people.

Ticked Off

It is ridiculous to see the UCP supporters continuing to blame the NDP for the deficit. Yes they are partly to blame but so is the old government who left this province in a mess when the NDP took over.

Tickled Pink

That a restored train could save Medalta!

Tickled Pink

The Democrats wasted so much time and energy on Trump’s impeachment they forgot to take care of business and displayed their total ineptness at running a campaign let alone the country!

Tickled Pink

Attended the State of the City luncheon and was tickled pink to hear from the mayor that we still have a Medicine Hat Advantage. I’m just wondering if his numbers included “service and delivery” charges of the cities used as comparisons?

Ticked Off

Cute how the daily poll used to cover a wide range of topics, but now it is mostly just used as a thinly veiled slam against our provincial government.

Ticked Off

It’s Feb. 5 and I’m trying to watch some Canadian or world news on either CBC or CTV but all I see is Donald “Agent Orange” Trump and his State of the Union speech. I’m so tired of seeing all of this American political garbage in the news. They aren’t the only country on Earth.

Ticked Off

With all the landowners whining about abandoned gas wells on their properties. Did they think this was a permanent cash cow?
