Tickled Pink This year’s Tongue on the Post Folk Music Festival was fantastic! Thank you to all the volunteers, organizers, sponsors, musicians and service providers, including the food and merchandise vendors. You put together a refreshing winter event for Medicine Hat. Ticked Off The News loves printing letters like “can we survive this government?” What are you do when you’re left with a budget spending $8 billion more than you’re taking in? Tickled Pink Thanks to the woman who paid for my grocery store meat before Christmas. I’ll pay it forward. Ticked Off Why is our local MLA not sticking up for local laundry? Tickled Pink With global warming. Instead of four seasons we just have two – avalanche and fire. Ticked Off There is a carbon tax, and higher prices all over and there’s no pipeline being built. I hope Albertans are happy. Ticked Off People don’t need to clap so loudly at functions that they drown out the speaker or entertainment. And clap at the end, not the middle. Ticked Off That our local restaurants have destroyed their breakfast specials by trying to cut costs. Tickled Pink If someone would put a mirror behind the legion coming off of North Railway so drivers can see who is coming up from the underpass on First Street. Ticked Off If someone slips on an unshovelled walk the people who didn’t shovel should be sued. Ticked Off How long before we hear about children and animals getting in to cannabis edibles? Tickled Pink I watched someone try to parallel park for what seemed like 20 minutes. He finally gave up. If you can’t parallel park how can you drive in traffic? Tickled Pink Most intelligent people are willing to do with a little less in order to pay down the NDP’s debt. Are the union leaders who contributed to the problem willing to? Tickled Pink Interesting to see the NDP had to send in its attack dog, Shannon Phillips, to wave the socialist flag. Ticked Off The Medicine Hat News should remember which side its bread is buttered on. It’s becoming a political rag for the left wing and losing a lot of advertisers. Ticked Off The government should institute assisted dying and leave NAFTA alone. We don’t have a leader who knows anything about NAFTA. Ticked Off Why is the government not reining in astronomical dental fees? Ticked Off If you need an assault rifle to hunt, you’re clearly doing it wrong. If you need to petition to keep these things your insecurity is showing. This coming from an actual responsible gun owner. Tickled Pink I’m glad the city went to smaller, more efficient buses. Ticked Off At how much utilities have gone up recently. Ticked Off Companies should not abandon wells but all a landowner has to do is cut the pipe off and weld the cap on. Landowners can do this work and make some money. Ticked Off With the politicians, like Kenney, looking to make our healthcare system operate at “max efficiency.” There needs to be some slack built into the system so that when an outbreak like coronavirus or other disaster occurs, the system isn’t left scrambling too me the spike in demand. 45-44
