Guest Column: Child abuse in the name of climate change

In recent times, those seeking power in the world have taken on climate change as their means of instilling fear and gaining control. The ultimate goal is to have power, rule the world and control the masses to do their bidding. Since the Second World War there have been many dire predictions of the end of the human race through global cooling, global warming and climate change. Every one of these predictions has proven false.

The current popular movement predicts that failure to act on climate change within the next ten years will be irreversibly detrimental to human life. Government, wealthy citizens and organizations hoping to be part of the powerful elite support and perpetuate these false narratives in order to encourage the ensuing fears and recruit the naive and uninformed to this false ideology.

Overpriced and inefficient energy sources such a solar and wind power have a place but are a long way from being an effective source for our energy needs. Carbon taxes which are designed to reduce fossil fuel consumption are a joke. They are a drain on our economy and have virtually zero effect on reducing overall world emissions of CO2 when China and others are increasing their outputs of these on a daily basis. Nature too, as the climate warms in increasing the amount of CO2 entering the atmosphere. As a result, the planet is getting greener.

Contrary to what the media keep telling us, CO2 is not pollution but a necessary staple for life on this planet and higher levels of it enhance the growth of all plant life and increase the production of the oxygen we breath. In addition to CO2, there are myriad other factors that may have some effect on the temperature of our planet. Our scientific community still does not understand all of these but most weather and climate scientists do not accept the current narrative being expounded by our left-wing politicians and our media. Unfortunately, they are rarely given a voice since they do not support the narrative and are not getting grants from those who do support it. The result of this is that most of the population is under informed and lacking education around the climate issue.

Recently, millions of school children have been encouraged to take a day off school to protest climate inaction by governments. Our schools and politicians encouraged this. This only proves that our systems are designed to indoctrinate our children into a specific climate narrative rather than educate them in all aspects of the issue. Years ago, our schools forced children to watch Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” in an attempt to indoctrinate them. Few if any, offered alternate explanations and almost everything in that film turned out to be untrue.

Recently a young Swedish girl, Greta Thunberg, spoke at the United Nations. My first reaction was that this child was extremely rude and disrespectful to that body. I felt her parents should be ashamed of her actions and her behaviour when she showed hatred and disdain for the members of that body. Then it suddenly occurred to me that this is what we are doing all over the world. We are instilling false fear into our young people and not properly educating them with the real truth and facts. The loonies are using our children to promote the original goal of empowering the elite to run the world the way they see fit and relegate the masses to their control. Far too many of us are falling for the scheme. Using our children to do this is the worst form of child abuse and it begins as early as preschool and continues through university. The goal is to instill enough fear that it will lead to obedience and compliance with those in change. The elite will have all the power and the masses have none. There is a name for this form of government mastery and control. It is called socialism and although the elite survive for a time, it ultimately fails. The few who have recognized this movement and fight against it are demonized by all means necessary, legal and illegal. Every country in the world that has moved toward socialism has failed ultimately. The long range goal of the UN and others on the left is to control the masses through fear, obedience, disarming, propaganda and globalism. If we cherish our freedom, we need to wake up and start fighting back.
