Letter: Stampede a success thanks to community support

Dear editor,

On behalf of the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Board of Directors, we would like to thank the citizens of Medicine Hat and surrounding area for your support for 2022 Exhibition and Stampede. We would also like to thank our sponsors, food trucks, businesses who had booths at the Stampede, rodeo competitors, livestock suppliers, the great entertainers on the free stages and our headliners, West Coast Amusement, the different organizations in attendance, the hundreds of volunteers, 33 committees who worked tirelessly to make our Stampede a huge success and our staff.

Without all of these people we would not have been able to produce such a great event. If we have forgotten anyone, we apologize but appreciate your support.

Yes, we have some things that need to be corrected for next year and we will do our best to accomplish these items. Congratulations to our new Royalty – Queen Shaylyn Hunt, Princess Kearra Borthwick and Caitlin Watson for throwing her hat into the Royalty competition.

Once again, thank you for coming out and supporting us this year. We look forward to a bigger and better event in 2023.
