Letter: Medicine Hat’s first responders do great work

By Letter to the Editor on May 4, 2022.

Dear editor,

I am so very pleased with our city police officers, as I realize their positions to be very dangerous, plus they are all so well appearing and treat all citizens with respect. They are called out at any hour – Will I return home? Who is in this home? I must speed to get someone to safety. What dangers are in front of me?

I truly do respect all officers while doing their utmost to protect all citizens of this city. May God bless each and all while performing their duties for our safety.

Also a thank-you to all ambulance attendants for their knowledge and caring for every person in their care. They are all very caring and kind, we all could not manage without your expertise, as your positions put you at a huge risk. May God bless each one of you.

Also a huge thank-you to all firefighters. Myself, I could not imagine performing your duties to help those in danger. I realize you each also put your lives in danger to save others. I understand the horrifying dangers each one faces. Be careful.

May God watch over each one and bless you in every footstep and ladder as you climb.
