Letter: Fresh look, smiling faces make shopping a great experience

Dear editor, I wish to express to the manager and staff of SW/SE Hill Safeway stores a huge thank-you for the beautiful makeover and all renovations that have been done. Upon entry, I just stand there looking all around. Wow, so beautiful and well done, such a huge supply of food. And your floral arrangement is a wonderful setup, so fresh. We have lived on SW/SE Hill for all my years (Safeway has been in this spot since 1957, that equals 65 years, wow. Used to be a clinic way back). I want to as well say a huge thank you to all staff, who are so kind and friendly. They talk to people like we are family and always ask, “Do you need help with carry-out?” Other workers ask, “Can I push the cart out for you?” Also gasoline attendants are eager to help all. I must mention the story manager is always working in sections, he also asks, “May I help you?” Very pleasant and yes, always has a smile. My family also shops here. To all workers, job well done.
