Letter: A big thank-you

Dear editor,

I would like to send out a BIG thank-you to the people who helped me on Dec. 1 in the Canadian Tire parking lot.

I fell and broke my hip, and people stopped to help. They stayed with me, called the ambulance, got my husband from the car and tried to keep me as calm as possible.

There were at least five people who helped me. One lady even helped my husband back to the car and made sure he was OK to drive to the hospital. A couple of these people were Canadian Tire employees.

This was kind people at their best. I had a partial hip replacement and am recovering very well at home. Thank you very much to all you great people.
