Letter: Tougher measures overdue on statue destruction

Dear editor,

Just because you destroy statues and burn down churches does not mean you change history, it just shows your ignorance.

Destroying or damaging public property is an insult to the past and should, according to the law, result in jail time for perpetrators and payment for repairing damages done.

When and where will this anarchy stop? When you have destroyed civilization as we know it today?

Be careful what you wish for!
