Letter: Ads shouldn’t be platforms for hate

Dear editor,

I was deeply dismayed by the publication on June 19 of the St. Michael World Apostolate ad about Jesus and Mary’s revelations to the world.

In my opinion, such content doesn’t belong in a fact based newspaper.

I was raised as a Catholic and this is not mainstream. It’s fanatical propaganda that is divisive and dangerous as everything non-Christian is deemed evil. If we want to build an inclusive society, a city newspaper shouldn’t be a platform that promotes hate.

Please stop publishing words like these.
