I want to extend my deep appreciation to Aaron, who works in the oilfields and lives in Medicine Hat.
Aaron selflessly and skillfully came to my rescue when I slipped on a rock coming down from Upper Bertha Falls in Waterton National Park on August 27.
Thanks to you, I got through the first hour awaiting help followed by a literal lift off the mountain trail – suspended in a sling from a Parks Canada Search and Rescue helicopter.
I can attest that the longer hike up to Bertha Lake is more difficult than the moderate rating it holds!
