Governments: What to do, what to do

By Letter to the Editor on June 9, 2020.

The old adage, “It is better to be thought stupid than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt,” is true.

Here we have federal Health Minister Patti Hajdu asking violent illegal protesters to wear masks, use hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing. I am surprised she did not ask them to only use nice words and write their names on a list for contact tracing.

The federal Chief Public Health Office (of indecision) Teresa Tam wants these same protesters to use signs and horns rather than shouting. I am surprised the government has not set aside $50 million to provide free masks and noisemakers.

Kenney is no better. $600,000 to create another parole board alongside the federal parole board – maybe we should build another Highway 1 alongside the existing highway and control that.
