Vacation company refuses refunds, says customer

It is really shameful to me that there are unscrupulous companies making money off this pandemic. I booked three trips with Getaway Vacations, totalling $2,350. They have told me their policy is “no refunds.” That’s fine if I were the one cancelling, but they did it. Since they can’t give the service, I believe there should be refunds. This is clearly objectionable..  

I have contacted my MLA, Chat TV, the Alberta ombudsman, and Alberta.ca/covid19. I sure hope some pressure to refund my money will be applied. This is disgraceful business practice.
