Holding the country for ransom

At what point will folks who ought to know better, like for example our prime minister, learn again that appeasement only leads to “Hey…it works…let’s do it again…ask for even more” or another prime minister of now some years ago, a Mr. Chamberlain, waving something signed by you know who (or have you forgotten that Austrian/German Fuehrere Adolf H.) and pronouncing “Peace in our Time”?).

By now most are likely totally fed up with the fact that a number of unelected (and I emphasize ‘unelected’) Indigenous hereditary figureheads and other assorted naive and somehow not very well informed non-Indigenous folks, are perfectly able to hold the entire country, this Canada of ours, for ransom; in the face of ‘elected’ Indigenous leaders agreeing with that project and its promises of a better future/employment for those First Nations families.

Then there is a very talented political cartoonist referring to Peter MacKay as a twit for advocating vigilantism, because MacKay seems to be one of the only politicians who is prepared and brave enough to say it like it is, that something drastic must be done now.
